Compare reporting periods
Compare dashboard metrics with the preceding period or the same dates one year earlier.
Add a comparison to see how the current reporting period changed.

Open Dashboard and choose the current range from Period.

Open Compare and select Previous period or Previous year.

Read the percentage change on each summary card. For Bounce rate, a decrease is treated as the favorable direction.

Use the solid and dashed series on the main chart to compare the two ranges.

Select No comparison when you want to return to the current period only.
What you should see: each summary card shows a change indicator and the main chart adds a comparison series.
