Invite users

Choose who can sign up, then invite a user with the right organization access.

Keep signup invite-only or allow anyone who can reach the instance to create an organization.

  1. Start Supermetry with the signup mode you want. invite is the default.

    Use SUPERMETRY_SIGNUP=open instead to show the public signup form. Restart Supermetry after changing the value.

  2. Select the organization, open Settings, then select Invitations. Only Owners and Admins can manage invitations.

  3. Enter the user’s Email, choose an Admin, Editor, or Viewer role, and set their site access and sensitive data permissions.

  4. Select Invite, then select Copy invitation link and send it to the intended recipient.

  5. The recipient opens the link, enters their name and a password of at least 6 characters, then selects Accept invitation.

What you should see: the invitation appears with the recipient’s email, role, site access, and permissions.
