Interface language

Choose the dashboard language and learn how translations and regional formats work.

The dashboard text can be translated, and dates, numbers and the first day of the week follow the chosen language.

  1. Open the account menu, select Account settings, then open Profile.

  2. Under Interface language, choose Browser default or a listed language.

  3. The page reloads in that language. The choice is saved to your account.

What you should see: menus, labels and messages appear in the selected language.

  • Spanish and German exist as machine-assisted first translations. A native speaker has not reviewed them, so the picker marks unreviewed languages (machine-assisted).
  • English, Spanish and German are selectable in the picker (Account settings, Language).
  • Some text, such as chart labels from your data and several card titles, is not translated yet and stays in English in every language.
  • Dates, numbers, relative times and the first day of the week follow the selected language.

A pseudo-locale (en-XA) accents and lengthens every message by about 40 percent so layouts that cannot cope with longer languages fail visibly. It is for testing, is not in the picker, and is switched on by setting the browser localStorage key supermetry.locale to en-XA.
