Create an alert
Notify your team when traffic changes or a goal reaches a threshold.
Create a site alert and send it through one or more notification channels.

Create and test a notification channel for the organization.

Open the site, select Settings, then select Alerts and Create alert.

Choose an Alert type and enter its Threshold.
Alert type Threshold Traffic spike Active visitors during the last 60 minutes Traffic drop Percentage of visitors in the same 24-hour window seven days earlier Goal reached Conversions in the current local day -
For Goal reached, select the goal to watch.

Select at least one enabled Notification channel, leave Enabled checked, and select Save alert.
What you should see: the alert appears with its type, threshold, and Enabled status.
